The 27th Annual Grain Place Farm Tour was held on July 8, 2017
Tours of the Grain Place Farm and Grain Place Foods took place in the morning. After a delicious lunch served by Fayne Petersen the afternoon seminar featured a presentation by Katrina Heinze, General Mills’ Organic Ambassador and a Keynote address by Jeff Moyer, Executive Director of the Rodale Institute.
Focus of both presentations was on the hope that organic practices offer to help regenerate the earth’s capacity to sustain human life in the face of climate and environmental crisis. Visit rodaleinstitue.org for more about these issues.
