OUR SOIL<\/span><\/h2>The bank measures values in dollars per acre; for the market, it\u2019s bushels per acre. For us, it\u2019s the quality of life held in the soil: its nutrients, the water it holds, how well it supports life of all kinds.<\/p>\n

We know this makes us unusual.<\/p>\n

We started the Grain Place Foundation as a way to invest the family farm for our common future. We hope to not only continue to farm differently on the 280 acres we have called home, but to spread our vision of a way of farming for the health of our soil and communities.
